The Henderson Point Public Boat Launch is a favorite starting point for kayakers, anglers, and boaters looking to explore the waters of Bay St. Louis, Waveland, Pass Christian, and Long Beach. With room for boats from 10 to 26 feet, it’s a convenient and well-loved access point to the Gulf Coast’s scenic bays and open waters. Whether you’re setting out for a day of fishing, a paddle across the bay, or a sunset cruise, please help us keep the area clean and welcoming for all by disposing of trash properly and respecting the space.

Be Ready Before You Back In: Prep your boat and trailer in the staging area first. Keep the launch lane clear for others.

Two Boats at a Time: The ramp accommodates two launches. Use your side and be aware of neighboring vehicles and boats.

Keep It Moving: After launching or retrieving, pull forward to the parking area before securing gear.

Parking Is Limited: Park only in designated spots. Don’t block the ramp, lanes, driveways, or other trailers.

Turn Carefully: Turning space is tight. Go slow, watch for pedestrians, and yield when needed.

Ramp Courtesy: Be patient, lend a hand when you can, and keep things moving for everyone’s day on the water.

Safety & Compliance: Make sure your vessel is registered and carries all required safety gear before launching.
